Meet Our Founder
Oliver is a Chartered Professional Geologist and digital transformation leader with over 20 years working globally and across WA's mining sector, from hands-on geoscience in the field to leading large-scale technology programs inside two of Australia's biggest iron ore operations.
Before founding Ideae Solutions, Oliver spent a decade at Rio Tinto and Fortescue in senior advisory and leadership roles, delivering $90M+ USD in verified digital savings, rolling out a business improvement platform to more than 17,000 people with verified cost savings of $73M AUD in less than 6 months, and building the kind of collaborative, people-centered programs that actually get adopted on the ground.
He's a Certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, a qualified Lean Six Sigma practicioner, and someone who genuinely believes that the best technology outcomes happen when you bring the right people along with you.
Ideae Solutions is built on that philosophy. Oliver works directly with site leaders and operations teams, cutting through complexity, staying vendor-neutral, and focusing on outcomes that are practical, measurable, and built to last.
